Ullrich Takes Win on Lake Hopatcong
Chris Ullrich of Picture Rocks, Pennsylvannia won the American Fishing Tour New Jersey D10 event held on 06/19/2016 at Lake Hopatcong. Division 10 was running out of Lee’s Park Marina in Arlington, New Jersey.
Ullrich caught five bass weighing 15.46 pounds with a 4.02-pound kicker. For the victory, Ulrich took home a check for $543. Chris caught most of his using soft plastic in deep weeds, mostly worms.
In second among the competitors was Mitch Pierson of Newton, New Jersey who caught three fish weighing 11.51 pounds. Pierson was also using jigs. Mitch collected a check for $329.
Al Pallavincini of Ringwood, New Jersey caught 10.06 pounds of bass finishing third and pocketing a check for $108. Al was pitching docks with a black worm.

The next event scheduled for New Jersey D10 will be held on June 26, 2016 on Greenwood Lake out of Small Craft Marine. The safety meeting will start the morning of the event at 4:45 am.

These anglers are earning valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual Ram American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of the Year Final Round at the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship.
