Bill Stines Wins on Grand
Bill Stines won the Ram American Fishing Tour District 65 qualifier, presented by American Bass Anglers on May 15th at Grand Lake, Oklahoma. Running out of Tera Miranda Resort, the Skiatook, OK angler brought in a five fish limit weighing 15.21 pounds. At launch it was 46 degrees with calm winds. The day warmed to near 70 with sunny skies and a brisk east wind with heavy recreational traffic and tournament pressure. Only two anglers brought in a five fish limit.
Second place went to Marc Barber of Oklahoma City with four fish weighing 10.53 pounds.
Third was Chuck Parker of Broken Arrow with five fish weighing 9.88 pounds; Parker continues to lead the Angler of the Year standings.
Fourth was Nick Kincaid, followed by Kansas angler David Breth.
The next Division 65 tournament will be the Divisional Championship on June 25th & 26th, 2016.
These anglers are earning valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual Ram American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of the Year Final Round at the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship.
The Ram American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US are invited to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship.
